FHP investigating fatal Dade City accident
Officials confirmed one person, a 54-year-old female, died. A second person, a 52-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital. A juvenile was flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Woman dead, two children injured in Dade City car crash
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., troopers said, a sedan driven north by Sharon A. Sampson, 54, of Dade City, veered over the center line near Morningside Drive. The car struck a southbound pickup driven by George M. Anderson, 52, of Auburndale, according to the FHP. Sampson died at the scene; two children in her car, ages 8 and 9, and Anderson were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
