Former Topeka police deputy chief's son hit by car and killed
Neighbors say they have complained about the safety of the street.
The car was a marked patrol unit from the Polk Co. Sheriff's Office, and driven by a woman who is a school crossing guard supervisor. She told authorities she didn't see Kalen until a second before he was hit.
