Third teen dies after last week's crash in Parrish

The driver of a third vehicle involved in that collision received minor injuries that did not require treatment.

At about 8:20 p.m. on November 19, Sean Thomas Barrett was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Impala east on County Road 675, approaching Spencer Parrish Road, when another vehicle driven by Brody McClelland Catt heading west turned into Barrett's car's path. Catt, of Parrish, was seriously injured and is alleged to have been drinking prior to the crash. Barrett was killed, as was Amber Darlene France. A third passenger, Lee Grady Edington, 19, of Bradenton, was taken to the hospital but died days later from injuries sustained in the crash. Nicholas Everette Watson of Sarasota, who was also in the Impala, was taken to Blake Medical Center with critical injuries.
