1 Dead, 1 injured in motorcycle hits car

Pinellas Park police said Lexi Lambert stopped at a red light Saturday night and for some reason traveled to the middle of the intersection while the light was still red.

Motorcyclist killed in Pinellas Park Crash

Police said a 16-year-old driver was stopped at the red light, when for an unknown reason she drove through the intersection while her signal was still red.
A 16-year-old, Lexi Lambert stopped at a red light then, for an unknown reason, went to the middle of the intersection while the light was red. Two motorcycles then collided with her standing car and ejected both riders. The 36-year-old motorist Casey Hahn, who was not wearing a helmet died at the hospital. Other motorist, 35-year-old Michael Kerr is expected to recover. No other information is released at the time.

Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. My heart is broken due to the death of my step son Casey Hahn. I would do anything to have my son back but since that can't happen I want Lexi to learn something from this senseless accident. I will never understand how the officer only charged her with running a red light.
