SUV removed from water off St. Pete Beach
Deputies say it’s possible a second person was in the vehicle, however no one was inside when it was pulled out of the water. The driver tells investigators he “doesn’t know if there was a passenger with him” in the vehicle.
It’s unknown what caused the SUV to go into the water.

A fisherman found her body off Treasure Island, about two miles northwest of the crash site. According to officials, the crash happened just after 3 a.m. Thursday near Shark Tales Waterfront Restaurant at 75th Avenue and Sunset Way.
