Jason Itro, 40, dead after motorcycle accident on 83rd Ave. NE in St. Petersburg, FL

At approximately 1 AM, Jason Eric Itro was driving a 2006 Honda west on 83rd Avenue NE. He failed to negotiate the curve in the 400 block and drove over the south curb and off the roadway. The motorcycle fell down a slight embankment and hit a concrete drain culvert. Itro came to rest on a small body of water and was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol impairment is suspected in the crash.
