Palmetto woman in critical condition following motorcycle crash

The official cause of the crash is not yet known as the investigation continues.
Linda Jean Guess was critically injured early Saturday after she was ejected from a motorcycle following a crash on 54th Ave. North, just east of 16th St. North in St. Petersburg. She was taken to Bayfront Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition. Guess and the driver of the 2014 Harley Davidson – Patrick Sean Feeley of St. Petersburg – were not wearing helmets. Feeley, 52, was traveling east when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, struck a curb, and lost control. The motorcycle went down on its right side and slid and struck a road sign. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
