About 8 a.m., a vehicle was heading eastbound on Fruitville Road east of Tuttle Avenue, when for an unknown reason it crossed the media and struck two other vehicles and rolled over. Another SUV swerved to avoid a collision and struck a tree, according to a news release.

A white 2004 Toyota 4-Runner was traveling eastbound on Fruitville Road and for an unknown reason, the 4-Runner crossed the median and went into the air. The 4-Runner was driven by Maria Fuentes of Sarasota, with Rocio Alanis, of Sarasota, as a passenger.
