Vicki Griffith, 58, killed and Frederick Lodsin, 49, injured in collision on U.S. 27 in Sebring, Florida

The Florida Highway Patrol said Frederick Lodsin, 49, of Bokeelia, was driving a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and tried to avoid colliding with a 2001 Chevy Venture driven by Arrin Griffith, 23, of Breese, Ill., that turned in front of him off U.S. 27 onto Bayview Drive in Sebring.
