Troopers said a Chrysler Van was traveling north on US 41 and, for an unknown reason, traveled into the southbound lanes and struck a Hyundai Accent head-on.
A Chevy Colorado traveling behind the Hyundai swerved out of the way to avoid the collision and traveled off the roadway, striking two large trees.
