Wrong-way crash kills 1 in Tampa
Florida Highway Patrol responded to US 41 at Dover Street in East Tampa around 12:13 a.m. where 23-year-old Ronal Vasquez-Gonzalez of Tampa was traveling southbound in the northbound lane in a Mitsubishi Eclipse.
The victim was traveling north on US 41. FHP says Vasquez-Gonzalezcollided head on with the victim’s vehicle, a Honda Civic.
