The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday. The two cars were traveling eastbound on Waters Avenue near El Portal Drive. The two cars collided and one of them hit a utility pole. Both the driver and the passenger in the car that hit the utility pole sustained non-life threatening injuries.
