A crash involving a daycare van sent several children to Pasco hospitals. It happened on State Road 56 at the intersection with Mansfield Boulevard. Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the driver of the Kids-R-Kids daycare van tried to make a left turn onto Mansfield Boulevard, and drove into the path of another vehicle. That vehicle hit the van, which fell over onto its side. Twenty-four children were on board the van at the time of the crash. Troopers say eight children had minor injuries, and two were taken to area hospitals for evaluation. The female driver of the second vehicle has serious injuries, according to the FHP report. She is being treated at St. Joseph's Hospital.
