Comments

This accident needn't have happened.  The residents of this neighborhood have been complaining for years about the volume and speed of the traffic through this area and the danger it poses to other motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, and especially our children.  People regularly travel at more than twice the posted speed limit and City officials who are fully aware of this problem refuse to address it.  Their failure to control traffic in this area greatly contributed to today's tragedy and they clearly bear a great deal of responsibility for it.
