15-year-old boy dies in boating accident in Indian River Lagoon
The Vero Beach Police Department says a 15-year-old boy is dead after a boat accident in the Indian River Lagoon Sunday morning.
Police say the boy fell into the river when the boat he was on hit a wave while towing another person on either a wake board or skis.

The Vero Beach High School football coach said Monday the 15-year-old played so well on the freshmen team, he was one of the few called up to varsity as part of the playoffs roster.
