6-year-old girl in critical condition after being struck by vehicle while crossing Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida
UPDATE: Girl, 6, hit by car in West Palm remains in critical condition
Police said the girl was crossing Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard west of North Australian Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday with her family when the wreck happened.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash, police said. The child was rushed to St. Mary’s while Traffic Homicide Division officials investigated the wreck.
