Driver dies after Cook Co. wreck

One driver died after a two car wreck in Cook County Saturday afternoon. Georgia State Patrol troopers, EMS, and Adel fire officials responded to wreck on Old Union Road and Highway 37 West in Cook County Saturday at about 1 p.m. A pickup truck, driven by Ronald Bennett, was traveling north on Old Union Road and approached a stop sign. Bennett's truck was then T-boned by Simmons' sedan while attempting to cross Hwy 37. According to officials, a full-size sedan driven by Rosa Simmons was traveling east on Hwy 37 towards Adel.
