6 injured in rollover accident involving Red Cross van and two pickups on U.S. 441 in Douglas, Georgia

Red Cross employees among 6 injured in rollover crash

Georgia State Patrol troopers said it happened around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to a report, a Red Cross van carrying three employees was traveling north on U.S. 441, when a red pickup truck traveling south turned in front of it. The van hit the right side of the pickup, and both overturned, hitting a third truck in the process. Officials said six people were injured in the crash, and taken to Coffee Regional Medical Center. GSP confirmed that the three people in the Red Cross van were traveling to a blood drive in Hazlehurst.
