Two people killed in South Hall wreck
“The area of impact was in the northbound lane,” he said. “The vehicles came to rest in the roadway, and no other objects or vehicles were struck.”
Two people were killed and one person seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in South Hall County late Saturday. The drivers, Cynthia Farmer, 49, of Auburn, and Daisye Faust, 79, of Flowery Branch, died in the head-on crash. Joseph Faust, 79, of Flowery Branch, was a passenger in Daisye Faust’s vehicle and is in serious but stable condition at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville. The crash occurred at about 9:50 p.m. on Ga. 13/Atlanta Highway south of Carter Road. Farmer was driving a Dodge Caravan and Daisye Faust was driving a Ford Edge SUV. Authorities believe Farmer crossed the center line and struck the Fausts’ vehicle.
