Fatal crash on Ga. Highway 138
The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office reported a fatal crash on Ga. Highway 138 north of White Road in Rockdale County Tuesday afternoon. According to authorities, one person is dead as a result of the head-on collision. Both lanes of Ga. 138 were closed as of 4 p.m. as authorities worked the accident scene. The highway was expected to remain closed for at least another hour.

Investigators believe Williams’ vehicle crossed the centerline in a curve and hit Kumar’s vehicle head-on on the driver’s side of both vehicles. Both men were wearing their seatbelts and air bags deployed in both vehicles.
