Man charged with homicide by vehicle after crash in Cobb County

A spokesperson with Georgia State Patrol says Mark Burkhalter, of Ellenwood, made an improper lane change, which caused the chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles.

One of the drivers in the crash died as a result of his injuries, according to the spokesperson, although his name was not immediately released.

 

Cobb family wishes no ill will to driver who caused fatal I-75 wreck

Coleman’s family told the television station that he had been on his way to see his mother in Marietta. He died at the crash scene.
