Athens man killed in single-vehicle crash

A single-vehicle crash July 2 at around 3:25 p.m. claimed the life of an Athens man. Authorities said David V. Henry, 47, was killed when the Mitsubishi Mirage he was driving left Quinn Road, struck an embankment, and overturned five miles west of Athens. Henry was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Alabama State Troopers are further investigating the wreck.
