An Ellenwood woman was in a Douglas County courtroom Monday to face a judge for the first time, following a fatal car accident Friday night in a Douglasville townhome community. Brehonna Turner, 23, faces charges of aggravated assault and felony murder in the death of Alexandria Wells, 23. According to Douglasville police, Wells was pinned under Turner's car while she was driving to confront an ex-boyfriend. By Monday morning, a makeshift memorial had formed at the site of the crash, in the Ashley Oaks townhome community. Police Chief Chris Womack said Wells was an innocent bystander who had absolutely nothing to do with the dispute between Turner and her ex-boyfriend.
