The population of Forsyth County rose from 175,000 in 2010 to 204,000 in 2014. In that same period, vehicle miles traveled rose from 4,115,000 to 5,174,000. In that same time frame, traffic crashes rose from 3957 to 5617.

Statewide, traffic deaths are up 7% from 2015, and up 34% from 2014.
