Clarke was driving a Nissan pickup east on Ga. 140 while Mooney was driving west in a Lincoln sedan in which Coleman was a passenger, according to Georgia State Patrol Tfc. Jeremy Battle. Clarke’s pickup truck crossed the center line and struck the sedan head on, Battle said. While Mooney and Coleman were wearing seat belts, Clarke was not, said GSP Sgt. Shan Burnett.

After a serious crash, several steps need to be taken, including dealing with the insurance companies, tracking and documenting lost income from missed work, coordinating medical bill payments, and handling an insurance claim.
