The ramp is closed as crews work to clear the scene. Several lanes of I-285 are also closed. Officers say the truck is spilling the sewage water and diesel fuel onto the interstate.
Overturned truck spills raw sewage at Ga. 400/I-285
The Ga. 400 southbound ramp to I-285 eastbound was closed Friday afternoon after a tractor-trailer overturned, spilling sewage water and fuel, according to police. Four lanes of I-285 eastbound were also blocked in the area, Sandy Springs police said. No other vehicles were involved when the tractor-trailer landed on its side, and no serious injuries were reported, police said.
