The man who was killed in a hit-and-run on Wrightsboro Road Thursday has been identified.

Grimm was taken to Doctors Hospital, where he died. He remained unidentified for several days as police and the coroner’s office sought information on his identity and the crime.

Charles S. Grimm was walking on Wrightsboro Road and McDaniel Drive around 9:45 p.m. when he was struck first by a car that left the scene, then a second vehicle. He was taken to Doctors Hospital where he died from his injuries. Authorities are still investigating this incident.
