According to the Columbus Ledger Enquirer the woman driving the car says Perry slammed the woman’s head in the wheel while she was driving and that caused her to lose control. No other cars were involved.

Kristen Kimber, the 30-year-old driver, surrendered to authorities at the Columbus Public Safety Building around 1 p.m. Tuesday as arranged by her attorney Mark Shelnutt. In addition to the homicide charge, she faces one count each of reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and no seat belt.
