Kenneth Alan Craig, 43, killed, after he is struck by a car, that was involved in a two-car accident, while walking at the intersection of Jeffersonville and Irwinton Roads in Macon.

Authorities say an Alabama truck driver who was walking alongside a central Georgia road was killed after two vehicles collided in the street, and one of the vehicles struck him.

The original accident on Saturday afternoon was a relatively minor one. The Bibb County Coroner said no one inside the vehicles was hurt.

Jones identified the Alabama man as 43-year-old Kenneth Alan Craig of Montgomery.

Jones said Craig had parked his truck near the intersection of Jeffersonville and Irwinton roads, and was apparently walking to a Family Dollar store. Jones said Craig was not in the road when he was hit around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. He was pronounced dead at The Medical Center of Central Georgia at 2:14 p.m.
