School remembers student killed in crash

Raheem Morris' teachers said he was very involved in the school's band, a model student, he took AP classes and was on the honor roll. 
Raheem Morris, 16, died in a car crash on Saturday, December 13th on GA Highway 17 at Marlow Road in Effingham County. Morris attended Effingham High School. Witnesses say that he did not stop at the stop sign, and a truck driver did not have time to react, resulting in the fatal collision. The truck driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The intersection is a two way stop.
