13-year-old driver in Hinesville hospitalizes himself and passenger

Kennedy sustained injuries to his legs and had to be transported to Memorial University Medical Center where he is receiving surgery. The teen did receive a head injury, reports state he had a bump on his head the size of a golf ball, he was transported to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville.
A 13-year-old driver and accompanying passenger, 20-year-old Logan Kennedy, have been seriously injured after running into a tree in a neighborhood Sunday afternoon. Patton was seen driving running the car into a fence, a parked car, and then a tree, driving up to 30 miles per hour. The teen driver has sustained a head injury and Kennedy injuries to his legs. Charges have not been filed at this time.
