School bus involved in wreck on Stiles Avenue at Ogeechee Road
"It is just with a school bus, we have children involved,” said SCMPD Public Information Officer Julian Miller. “People pay very quick attention very quickly. There is a lot of interest in a school bus crash because so many of our kids are on school buses.”

A school bus was involved in an accident on Ogeechee Road at Stiles Avenue on Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Six students from DeRenne Middle School were on the bus at the time of the crash. According to authorities, the bus driver lost control of the bus and hit a tree. All occupants of the bus, including the driver, were transported with minor injuries.
