Police are looking for the driver of a car that struck a 69-year-old homeless man and sped away Thursday night on Savannah’s eastside.
Richard Lindsey was crossing Victory Drive when he was struck by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Lindsey was transported to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment. Police are searching for the vehicle that hit him, described as a maroon 1980s model Oldsmobile Cutlass or Buick Regal with damage to the front left shoulder.
