Johnson was traveling east on Anderson at a high rate of speed when the Suzuki crashed into the side of a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country minivan traveling south on Jefferson, said Julian Miller, Savannah-Chatham police spokesman. Traffic investigators were told Tuesday that Johnson died on Monday.
