Two local teens killed in crash

Deputies say a driver in a 2002 Jaguar convertible was speeding westbound on Hayden Avenue from Idaho Road, crashing through a fence, rolling and then crashing through a line of trees, striking a gas line before coming to a stop.

A 17-year-old boy from Post Falls, Idaho and a 17-year-old boy from Verdale, Washington were both killed in the crash. 

Deputies ID local teens killed in high-speed wreck

The wreck killed two teens, both of whom were 17-years-old. Authorities identified the victims as Monte A. Thomson Jr., from Spokane Valley (Veradale) and Leo C. Neal from Post Falls.
