Clinton man identified in fatal pedestrian-car accident
The Clinton police and fire departments were notified at 6:40 a.m. and confirmed a pedestrian was walking west across Illinois 54 when he was struck by a car, also traveling west.
He was identified as William Towns, 85, of Clinton.
