Illinois State Police said that Austin A. Krager, 18, was driving a Ford Fusion east on McAdam Drive at 7:54 p.m. when he tried to turn left onto Illinois 48. His car was hit by a southbound 2017 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Stephanie S. Stivers, 41, of Taylorville.
