Crash in Champaign County Leaves One Person Dead
Champaign- A head-on crash in Champaign County leaves one person dead. It happened on southbound US Route 45, just south of Champaign County Road 600. The crash happened at 5:50 PM on Tuesday, December 6.
Illinois State Police say a man was driving a Saturn south on US Route 45 and another man was heading north in his Nissan in the same location. The man driving the Saturn pulled into the northbound lane to pass a vehicle, causing him to hit the Nissan head-on.
