According to the LaSalle County Coroner, 56 year-old Gustavo Juarez of Yorkville was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at Interstate 39 and Illinois Route 251.
Illinois State Police say in a news release that Juarez was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-39 when he hit a 28 year-old semi-driver from North Miami Beach, Florida near mile post 52.
