The Denver Post reports (http://dpo.st/2c8KIsz ) that 22-year-old Dalton McCreary died after being struck by the SUV Monday. His 18-year-old friend credited McCreary with saving his life, saying he pushed him out of the SUV's path.

"I just remember Dalton's hand on my back and I remember him pushing me and telling me to run," Mulumulu said.
He made it across the street with that hand still on his back, but when he turned around thinking they both made it to safety, he saw McCreary on the ground.
