Two Bikers Severely Injured In Crash During Charity MotorcycleRide

CHICAGO (STMW) — Two people were severely injured Sunday after their motorcycle crashed during an ABATE charity motorcycle ride in northwest suburban Carpentersville. No other injuries were reported, and Main Street was closed for two hours while the crash was investigated. Dalton was air lifted from the scene to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, and his passenger, Sara Nickence, 43, of Aurora, was taken to Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. Both suffered severe injuries, and their conditions were not immediately known, police said. Police are not sure whether the two riders were wearing helmets.
