They were described by police as two men wearing high-visibility work-type shirts or vests.
Linda Forbes, 59, was driving a Toyota station wagon on South Morgan Street at about 8:30pm when she was hit at an intersection by an eastbound car on West 16th Street. The two men in the eastbound car exited their vehicle and left the scene of the accident, while Forbes was severely injured and pronounced dead after being brought to a hospital.
