Bicyclist killed in Northwest Side crash with motorcycle

A bicyclist was killed and a motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash on Chicago's Northwest Side.Emergency crews were called to the 4300-block of West Addison Street around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.The person riding the bicycle was pronounced dead at Illinois Masonic Hospital. The person riding the motorcycle was taken to Community First Hospital in critical condition.Addison Street is closed from North Kilbourn Avenue to North Milwaukee Avenue for the crash investigation.

About 4:30 a.m., a motorcycle hit a person on a bike in the 4300 block of West Addison. The bicyclist was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and was later pronounced dead, police said. The motorcyclist was taken to Community First Medical Center, but that person'€™s condition was not immediately known.
