One person killed and 11 injured in shooting and rollover crash at 57th and LaSalle in Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois

One person was shot to death and 11 others were injured in a shooting that sparked a rollover crash on the South Side of Chicago early Sunday morning. During the shooting, a dark-colored SUV driving in the area was caught in the crossfire and rolled over, police said. The injured were transported to area hospitals, police said. Around 2 a.m. a group of people were standing outside near 57th and LaSalle in the Englewood neighborhood when an offender approached and started shooting at them, according to Chicago Police News Affairs. All six people inside the car were transported to area hospitals.
