Police: 1 killed, 1 injured after crash involving stolen vehicle on Far South Side

Police pursued the Ford, which ran a red light at 127th and Throop Street and slammed into a red Toyota Corolla. The Toyota then hit another car, a black Saturn SUV.

Cops: 1 Dead, 1 Injured In West Pullman Crash With Stolen Vehicle

The Ford drove west, running a red light before striking a red Toyota Corolla at the intersection of 127th Street and Throop, police said. The impact caused the Toyota to crash into a 2003 Saturn.

The 18-year-old man driving the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He was identified as Tevin J. Jones-Rogers of the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
