5 hospitalized after Deer Park crash

Responders from Lake Zurich, Palatine, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, Deerfield, Prospect Heights, Wheeling and the Lake County sheriff's office assisted with the accident. The other four patients were transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital near Lake Barrington, the release said. The Long Grove Fire Protection District was called around 11 a.m. for the crash in the westbound lanes of Lake-Cook Road west of Rand Road, according to a news release.
