8 HOSPITALIZED IN 7-VEHICLE CRASH IN GURNEE

Eight people were hospitalized Monday evening in a seven-vehicle crash, which included a semi truck, in north suburban Gurnee, state police said. The crash occurred at about 7 p.m. on Interstate 94 near Exit 132 near Six Flags Great America theme park. Two people involved in the crash needed to be extricated by emergency crews.

According to the Gurnee Police Dept., the accident occurred at approximately 5:40 p.m. not 7 p.m.

Did they leave the wreckage for over a day on the road? A coworker says he saw the cars Wednesday around 6:30PM on the way home from work.

Probably because they had to do some investigating and recording to properly assess damage and liability of the truck
