A 2002 Honda CRV was on its side and there were large, black skid marks on the pavement. Another family member was believed to have taken the keys, police said.Police said the driver of the Honda had both sets of keys on him. Police said the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was found dead.Investigators said the CRV was headed west on Freeman Road at a high rate of speed when it struck a light pole.

Man Killed In Second Of Two Apparently Intentional Crashes InHuntley

That second crash killed the man, later identified as 56-year-old David Flight, of unincorporated Gilberts. Klunk said the Flight had both sets of car keys when his body was found at the scene of the second crash. CHICAGO (CBS) — Police in northwest suburban Huntley were investigating two single-car crashes from overnight, including one fatal crash. Both wrecks appeared to be intentional, and apparently involved the same man. “That seems to be the most plausible explanation on the information we have at this point,” Huntley Deputy Police Chief Mike Klunk said. Klunk said it’s apparent both crashes were intentional. “We don’t see any loss of control, we don’t see any skid marks prior to the striking area, and there’s really no indication of anything else.
