Joliet Deputy Police Chief Al Roechner said a 39-year-old man was driving a black Honda at Black Road and Bethel Drive when he was "T-boned" by a silver sedan.

A 39-year-old man was driving on Black Road and Bethel Drive when Heather Brown, 31, allegedly struck his vehicle while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The man was taken to Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center with broken ribs, a punctured spleen and bruised lungs. Brown was booked into Will County Jail after being arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
