Truck driver Dior Turner, of South Bend, Indiana, was westbound on U.S. Route 20 when his semi-trailer truck left the roadway at Reinking Road and overturned around 5:15 a.m.
A Saturday morning car accident killed a 21-year-old Chicago woman and injured her four passengers. The woman was driving southbound on Farnsworth Avenue around 2:20 a.m. Saturday. She has been identified as Porce T. Robinson, 21.
Two people are dead after a single-vehicle crash in the Chicago suburb of Elgin that occured early Saturday. The accident happened shortly after midnight on the 1100 block of Forest Drive, when a vehicle carrying three people left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
A 5-year-old girl died and her father and another person were injured Friday in a three-car collision in Pingree Grove.
A collision between a school bus and a car at about 8:00am left ten students on the bus with minor injuries, as well as one person trapped in the car. Injuries were reported to be minor. This crash remains under investigation; check back for updates.
